Ram
Location
Wagin, WA
About
As the most serene member of the "Big Sheep in Oz" club, the Big Ram at Wagin stands 7 metres tall, in one of the best locations of any of the Big Things. You'll find the ram in the middle of a public park, standing watch over the township of Wagin, the centre of a wool and wheatgrowing industry. Shear wonder it is!

Rock
Location
Barrington Tops, NSW
About
Not strictly a big thing in that it hasn't been built, the big rock is located at Barrington Tops National Park/State Forest NSW. This monumentally big rock was spotted from the car as we hooned through the Barrington Tops. Apart from the fact that it is a very big rock, the thing that initially alerted our senses was a small sign, pointing into the forest with the words "The Big Rock" appropriately carved into it. We were obviously not disappointed when we followed the sign and saw a big rock. You can only imagine how the annual Parks Improvement Planning Meeting would have publicised the agenda for the meeting.
"Point 7 - the naming of that big rock out along the Gloucester Road". The whole town attends, crowding into the meeting room, filling up from the back seats forward, all attendees stifling their giggles.
"Why not call it "The Big Rock" one of them shouts. The meeting collapses into a mass of hysterical laughter, and Lady Chair sighs relief as she crosses the words "Nob", "Penis" and "Thingy" from her notes and inserts the word "Rock".
Legend has it, however, that the Big Rock lays claim to being an object of fertility. Childless couples, who make love on top of The Big Rock will have their climbing and balancing skills rewarded with a long sought after pregnancy.

Rocking Horse
Location
Gumeracha, SA
About
If you can climb this over 18 metre tall Big Rocking Horse, you'll get a certificate. Birdwood Road, Gumeracha in the Adelaide Hills is home to the Toy Factory and the Big Rocking Horse outside it. It seems to be the perfect size to be ridden by the Big Ned Kelly from Glenrowan or the Big Gold Panner from Bathurst. We've yet to find out if it really rocks.
